Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh) gets swept up in an insane adventure across the infinite realms of the multiverse to save the world in A24’s Everything Everywhere All at Once.
After weeks of anticipation and rave reviews, I FINALLY got the chance to experience Michelle Yeoh’s multiverse and it surpassed every expectation I had.
Everything Everywhere All at Once is the film we have all been waiting for. A magical, mind-boggling and mesmerizing masterpiece with an emotionally powerful narrative and a visually visceral experience.
I laughed. I cried. I gasped. I’m honestly speechless. Seriously. I’m often not at a loss for words but Daniels and Daniels have left me in awe.
I haven’t been this impacted or captivated by a film in a LONG time. I admire the Daniels duo’s fearlessness to own their chaotic vision throughout its two hour and twenty minute runtime, thus resulting in one of the most imaginative, unpredictable and brilliant pieces of contemporary cinema.
The brilliance continues into its wickedly talented ensemble, helmed by an enthralling leading performance by Yeoh. Yeoh is one of the finest actresses of our time and this narrative allows her to show the world all she is capable of.
The cast. The crew. The vision. All of it was perfect.
I can tell you right now, it’s only April but I know I have found one of my top favorites of 2022 and of all time.
Final Thoughts: Everything Everywhere All At Once is nothing short of a creative masterpieces further illustrating all the unique storytelling cinema has to offer.
