“Quiz Lady” is a genuine delight.

Awkwafina and Sandra Oh team up in the hilarious and heartfelt Hulu original, “Quiz Lady.”

The film follows Anne and Jenny — two sisters who couldn’t be any more different — as they embark on a wild adventure to pay off their mother’s gambling debts and rescue their beloved dog by having Anne compete in a game show.

Yes. It is as outrageous as it sounds. But surprisingly, this comedy is an enjoyable blast.

Sure, it isn’t highbrow and it is predictable but it is hysterical ode to sisterhood and game shows that will warm your heart.

And a lot of this in part to the two leads, who not only have magnificent comedic chemistry but a sweet sincerity. They are absolutely terrific together.

Awkwafina is fun as per usual, however I for one am DELIGHTED to see Sandra Oh in a comedic role. Her charisma, goofy charm and chaotic energy radiate off the screen. If anything, this should be a wake up call to cast Oh in more comedies.

Overall, it’s a sweet and silly watch worthy of your stream.
